She had been a resident for many years and in the end lived with her son, Mr. V. E. Tregonning. Prior to settling at Auburn, she had her home at Granville, where her husband, the late James Tregonning, who pre-de- ceased her by five years, carried on a tannery business. She retired to rest on Saturday night about 9.30 o'clock in ap- parent good health, but shorlly after- wards took ill, and as her condlition did not improve medical aid was sought, but before the doctor arrived she breathed her last. She leaves a family of three sons and five daughters, a number of grand-childrren and great-grand-children. The interment took place on Tuesday, in the old R.C. portion of Rookwood ceme- tery, Walter F. Peters and Co. being the undertakers. | |
