| Text | 'This is the last Will and Testament of me Michael Bennett, of the Township of Uxbridge, in the County of Middlesex, Fishmonger. I devise all the real estate in the Township Of Uxbridge, aforesaid to which I am entitled at the date hereof unto and to the use of my nephew Edward Barnes of Uxbridge aforesaid Fishmonger his heirs and assigns for ever subject nevertheless to and charged with the payment by him or them thereof or out of the rents issues and profits thereof of the following weekly sums to the following persons namely To my Tenant Emma Hill of Uxbridge aforesaid Widow four shillings weekly from my decease during her life To Charlotte Hill a daughter of the said Emma Hill (now about Twelve years old) two shillings weekly from my decease during her life To Thomas Hill a son of the said Emma Hill (now about eleven years old) eight shillings weekly from my decease during his life To the said Thomas Hill if he survive his said mother an additional two shillings weekly from her decease during the remainder of his life To Joseph Hill a son of the said Emma Hill (now about nine years old) eight shillings weekly from my decease during his life to the said Joseph Hill if he survive his said Mother an additional two shillings weekly from her decease during the remainder of his life to my niece Jane Barnes twelve shillings weekly from my decease during her life I declare that the devise to the said Edward Barnes his heirs and assigns herein before contained is also subject to the said Emma Hill having the right to occupy or use during her life free of rent the cottage and premises in which she resides at the date hereof and also to the said Jane Barnes having the right to occupy or use during her life free of rent the rooms in which I reside at the date hereof I declare that the said Edward Barnes his heirs and assigns shall during the minority of each of them the said Charlotte Hill Thomas Hill and Joseph Hill apply her or his aforesaid weekly sum or sums or a sufficient part thereof for his or their maintenance or benefit and shall accumulate the balance if any by investing the same in some Savings' Bank for her or his benefit I empower each of them the said Emma Hill Charlotte Hill Thomas Hill Joseph Hill and Jane Barnes whenever and so often as her or his aforesaid weekly sum or sums shall be in arrears or unpaid for four weeks or more to disfrain upon the real estate hereinbefore devised or any part thereof and by such distress to receive the weekly sum or sums so in arrear and unpaid and all costs and expenses occasioned or incurred by reason of the non-payment thereof I devise my real estate called Laurel Cottages situate in Cowley Road in the parish of Hillingdon in the said County of Middlesex to the said Thomas Hill and Joseph Hill equally during their joint lives and to the survivor of them during this life and after the decease of such survivor to Edward Bennett Barnes (son of the said Edward Barnes) his heirs and assigns for ever I declare that my Executors hereinafter named shall receive the rents and profits of the last mentioned real Estate during the minority of each of them the said Thomas Hill and Joseph Hill and shall invest and accumulate the share of each of them in some Savings Bank for his benefit if he shall attain the age of twenty one years and so that if one of them shall die under the age of twenty one years then the said investment and accumulation shall be for the sole benefit of the other of them if he attain the age of twenty one years and if both die under the age of twenty one years then the said investment and accumulation shall be for the sole benefit of the said Edward Bennett Barnes I bequeath as follows namely to the said Edward Barnes the sum due to me on mortgage from Thomas Hill and the interest thereof and the security for the same to Eliza Lines of Hillingdon House in the said County of Middlesex Spinster my two Engravings or pictures of "The Deluge" and "The Passage of the Israelites through the Red Sea" and also the sum of One hundred pounds To the said Jane Barnes the furniture and household effects (except the two engravings or pictures) which shall be in or about my said rooms at my decease To my son James Bennett Seven hundred pounds To my daughter Elizabeth Coleman Wright five hundred pounds To each of my Executors hereinafter named Ten pounds I devise all the real estate if any which at my decease shall be vested in me as trustee or mortgagee to my said Executors absolutely Subject to the equities affecting the same I devise and bequeath the residue of my real and personal estate to my said son and daughter James Bennett and Elizabeth Coleman Wright in equal shares as tenants in common absolutely I appoint the said Edward Barnes and James Turner of Windsor Street Uxbridge aforesaid Upholsterer Executors of this my Will and I declare that in the administration management and collection of my personal estate my said Executors or other my personal representatives for the time being shall have power authority and discretion as ample absolute and arbitrary in all respects and in particular as to giving time for payment to my debtors as if they my said Executors and personal representatives respectively were absolute beneficial owners of my said personal estate I revoke all other Wills In witness whereof I hereunder set my hand this twenty seventh day of November in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and seventy five -
